By booking an event with Happy Tales Farm, you agree to the following terms and conditions

1. Assumption of Risk and Personal Responsibility

Participation in activities at Happy Tales Farm, including painting, feeding, and interacting with farm animals, is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. Guests acknowledge that a farm environment and animal interactions involve inherent risks, including but not limited to scratches, bites, kicks, falls, allergic reactions, and other unexpected injuries.

Guests agree to exercise caution, supervise children at all times, follow all safety instructions provided by farm staff, and treat all animals respectfully. Happy Tales Farm is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

By attending an event, guests acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for their participation, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms waives or limits any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived or limited.

2. Reservations and Payment

All events require advance registration and full prepayment. Walk-ins are not accepted. Reservations are confirmed once payment has been received. Space is limited, and reservations are subject to availability.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are non-refundable. Please contact Happy Tales Farm as soon as possible if you need to cancel your reservation.

4. Arrival Time

Please arrive at the scheduled event time. For events beginning at set time, guests should not arrive before set time unless otherwise instructed.

5. Children and Supervision

Children under 18 years old and older are welcome when accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult and the event or booking allows for children. Guests are responsible for supervising children throughout the event and ensuring they follow all safety rules.

6. Animal Safety and Interaction

Guests may have the opportunity to interact with and feed farm animals. Animal interactions must be conducted respectfully and according to the instructions provided by farm staff. Guests must not chase, tease, or intentionally frighten the animals. Only approved feed provided by the farm may be given to the animals.

A livestock guardian dog works on the property and cannot be put away during events. Guests must respect the dog's working role and follow all instructions regarding interactions with the dog.

7. Farm Environment and Safety

Happy Tales Farm is a working farm. Guests should be aware of potential uneven surfaces, animal-related hazards, and other conditions associated with a farm environment. All guests must wear appropriate clothing and footwear, enclosed heel and toe shoes, and follow all posted signs and staff instructions.

8. Painting Activities

All painting supplies needed for the scheduled activity will be provided. Adult participants will receive the designated canvas, while children ages 7–17 may receive a smaller canvas. Guests are responsible for using supplies appropriately and following the artist's instructions.

9. Food and Beverages

Guests may bring their own beverages and snacks (BYOB). Please consume food and beverages responsibly and dispose of all waste in the designated areas. Alcohol consumption must comply with applicable laws and farm rules.

10. Smoking Policy

Happy Tales Farm is a non-smoking property. Smoking, vaping, or use of electronic cigarettes are not permitted on the premises.

11. Event Changes and Safety

Happy Tales Farm reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel an event when necessary due to weather, safety concerns, animal welfare, or unforeseen circumstances. If the farm cancels an event, guests will be informed of the available options for a refund or rescheduling.

12. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to treat farm staff, other participants, animals, and farm property with respect. Happy Tales Farm reserves the right to ask guests who behave unsafely or disruptively to leave the premises.

13. Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and for following all safety instructions during the event. Please notify farm staff of any safety concerns or incidents immediately.

14. Agreement to Terms

By completing a reservation and attending an event at Happy Tales Farm, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
